The MEA has updated the structure for the grant program for 2010 (any grant application that is received after 12/1/2008 automatically falls under the new guidelines) which are as follows.
Photovoltaic systems:
$1.25 per watt for the first 4,000 watts (DC) capacity
$1.00 per watt for watts 4,001-8,000
50 watt for watts 8,001-10,000

Your solar renewable energy credits are an actual dollar value and are considered commodities. You may sell your "green energy credits" at a lump sum or you may allow Maryland Solar Solutions, Inc. to manage your credits for you as your aggregator. If you choose to allow us to monitor and manage your energy credits, you will receive your dividends in the first two months of each year. Energy commodities are rising and so will your investment.
